Our first day on the sight. After breaking up a very old unused waterer we were fortunate to be left with the functioning original water supply line.
September 13, 2006
The supply line did not have the protection of a riser tube, increasing the chances for the waterline to freeze.

A gentleman from a concrete company out of Des Moines offered to cut the concrete around the supply line.

The same concrete company offered to pour the concrete step needed to install the Thrifty King CT2-2000. We left that night with the form in place.

Our last day on the sight. The concrete pad has been poured and a new shut off valve and fittings have been installed on the water supply line.

The hold down bolt locations are marked by placing the body of the CT2 on the concrete pad.
